Two today!

Yes, that's right!

Two new entries in one day :-)
('Reality.' and 'The Story. The Tapestry. The Beauty.')

Consider leaving a comment, shooting us an email (ta.wolfe@hotmail.com), writing us on Facebook, whichever way you wanna do it...let us know if you are reading this blog! We would REALLY appreciate it.. (and while you're at it...let us know what you think of it...what is happening in your life...what God is teaching you...anything!)

It is always so encouraging to hear from you, and to know who we are speaking to through our blog.

=)

And something to make you think:

Andrea and Trevor,
You have been in my thoughts and prayers lots lately. I imagine you are torn with mixed feelings as you wind down these last few weeks. There's nothing like feeling you are getting up and leaving all that you have grown to love, especially knowing that many of the people you are leaving need you, they have grown to love you (even going so far as to call you 'mom' Andrea, how truly special) He is in control though, and what an amazing opportunity this next year will be to truly learn what it means to trust Him, trust and pray that He would continue the amazing work that has taken place, that He would take care of the guys in the shop, and the children in Mitumba slum, and all the many friends who have met.
What an amazing journey He has taken you on. Sometimes, after reading your blogs, I am left speechles... literally..and to be honest (not that it's any excuse!) I feel like any attempt at a comment would fall short to how it really is affecting me (and likely others) Your words move me, they take me right there, but perhapds more importantly, they point me to Jesus. It often takes a while to really process those words though, and the dark reality of it all. But what we do know is being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Take care guys!
Joanne

p.s while typing this "He Reigns" by Newsboys was playing (one of my all time favourite worshp songs) Anyways,I couldn't help but think how fitting it was ;)

It’s the song of the redeemed
Rising from the African plain
It’s the song of the forgiven
Drowning out the Amazon rain
The song of Asian believers
Filled with God’s holy fire
It’s every tribe, every tongue, every nation
A love song born of a grateful choir

It’s all God’s children singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah
He reigns, He reigns
It’s all God’s children singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah
He reigns, He reigns

Let it rise about the four winds
Caught up in the heavenly sound
Let praises echo from the towers of cathedrals
To the faithful gathered underground
Of all the songs sung from the dawn of creation
Some were meant to persist
Of all the bells rung from a thousand steeples
None rings truer than this

And all the powers of darkness
Tremble at what they’ve just heard
‘Cause all the powers of darkness
Can’t drown out a single word

When all God’s children sing out
Glory, glory, hallelujah
He reigns, He reigns
All God’s people singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah
He reigns, He reigns
